We use your information to provide, maintain, and improve Calendar AI; to sync your data across devices; to send you service-related notifications (with your consent); to respond to support requests; and to comply with law and enforce our terms.

3. Third-Party AI Processing

Calendar AI uses OpenAI's API to process your scheduling requests. When you use the AI scheduling feature:

• What data is sent: Your text messages describing your schedule, and your calendar event titles and times (for context to avoid conflicts).
• Who receives it: OpenAI, Inc. processes this data through their API to generate schedule suggestions.
• How it is used: Your data is used solely to generate schedule responses in real time. OpenAI does not use your data to train their models (per their API data usage policy).
• Data retention: Messages are processed in real time and are not persistently stored by OpenAI.

You are asked to consent to this data sharing before using the AI scheduling feature for the first time. You may decline, but the AI scheduling feature will not be available without consent.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. In addition to OpenAI (described above), we may share data with service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics) under strict agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

5. Data Security and Retention

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data (encryption, access controls). We retain your information while your account is active and as needed thereafter for legal or operational purposes. You may request deletion of your account and data.
