Delta Metrics ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Strelok AI Ballistic Calculator mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our App.

Information Collection and Use

Strelok AI is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary to provide our services:

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

  • Ballistic Profiles: Your ammunition, rifle, and environmental settings are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
  • Calculation History: Any saved calculations remain on your device.

Sensor Data

  • Location (GPS): When enabled, the app uses your location for Coriolis calculations and target distance/azimuth. This data is processed locally and not transmitted to our servers.
  • Barometer: Atmospheric pressure readings are used for accurate ballistic calculations and are processed locally.

Range AI Feature

When you use the Range AI assistant:

  • Your messages are sent to our secure backend servers for processing.
  • We use a unique device identifier to manage rate limits (20 requests/hour, 100 requests/day).
  • Message content is processed by OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini model.
  • We do not store your conversation history on our servers beyond the current session.
  • Rate limit records are automatically deleted after 48 hours.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures: HTTPS for all API communications; API keys stored securely on our backend; Supabase Edge Functions with built-in security.

Third-Party Services

The Range AI feature uses OpenAI (subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy) and Supabase (subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy).

Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
